FUNDRAISERS
The Bead Museum and the BSGW encourage both individuals and organizations to partake in its fundraising endeavors. These activities and occasions honor The Bead Museum’s dedication to the promotion of cultural understanding through the study of beads while raising funds to continue to support the Museum and its unique programs for generations to come.
The Museum co-sponsors annual bead swaps, presents lectures by experts in the field of bead collecting, and organizes other related fundraising activities. Recently, The Bead Museum hosted a creative black tie “Beads High Seas and Culture Gala", featuring a special open house showing “The Eternal Bead” exhibition, a silent auction, and east-coast movie premiere of Diana Friedberg’s “World on String,” documentary. The Bead Museum plans to host another gala in the future.”
